NORTH SEA

Brouwersdam is always buzzing. You’ll see campers and vans with license plates from all over the world here with a surfboard strapped to their roofs. They’re here to catch the stiff breeze or the strong winds from the North Sea.

7 km away from the camp site you'll find the Brouwersdam. The Brouwersdam is the seventh construction of the Delta. The Brouwersdam close the Brouwershavense hole. By this closure gave rise to the Grevelingenmeer.

HIKING AND CYCLING

It is wonderful to feel the wind in your hair during the cycling or walking and enjoying the view. You'll see wind surfers and divers. The ports provide the necessary distraction.
Along the beach you can enjoy hiking and cycling, thanks to the shells paths which lead you along the most beautiful places. If you like to spot seals, the locks of the Brouwersdam on the North Sea side are a good place. Here are regularly seen seals.
With a map of the VVV (available at the reception) you are sure to find the most beautiful spots.

WATER SPORTS

The North Sea Beach is suitable for various types of water sports. The wind and high waves are very suitable for extreme sports, such as kite surfing and wakeboarding. There are also special beaches designated for kiters. You can also explore by kayak or the coast further to the water with a motor or sailing boat. Or how about a boat trip with skipper where you go fishing?

That unique combination of sea and lake is what makes Brouwersdam such a popular destination.

The Brouwersdam is one of the most visited Dutch kitespots. That is partly due to the good and free parking facilities and the main beach.  Kitesurfing is the fastest growing water sports in the world. If you can believe the stories of insiders, the adrenaline and the fun makes this sport into a true addiction. The power of the wind in the kite, guarantees speed and action. But no action, without a sound basis. That you can learn at one of the water sports schools on the Brouwersdam. If you prefer watching others, you can always sit down on one of the terraces and enjoy the stunting of others.

CONCERT AT SEA

With a group of friends on the beautiful beach. In front of you is your favorite artist. On the Brouwersdam you're having a beer and enjoying the good food. A round in the Ferris wheel and with a cocktail in hand watching the sunset.

Since 2006 every year Concert at Sea is taking over the Brouwersdam. This musical spectacle takes place each year end jui/early July and provides a special vibe on the Brouwersdam and its surroundings!

On Concert at SEA is now more to experience than on an any other ordinary music festival. There drive, walk and fly Street Theatre acts over the terrain and there is an extensive range of food and drinks with attention to all the goodies that Zeeland has to offer.
